Cooper Chelmsford is the only Bodyshop in the area that has been fully vetted and approved by BMW. All staff receive regular technical training at BMW’s training centre in Bracknell and our team are proud to be in receipt of several awards from factory organised national competitions. 

As a Cooper Chelmsford customer you benefit from our ‘Accident Aftercare Programme’ free of charge. In the event of an accident you may find yourself under pressure from your insurance company to have repairs carried out at a different body-shop (one approved by the insurance company rather than BMW). This is generally because of cost and administration convenience. Please remember however that the choice of repairer does not lie with the insurance company, it lies only with the policyholder, in other words with you! You are fully entitled to insist that Cooper Chelmsford carry out the repair to your car.

We are fully equipped with specialist alignment jigs, welding equipment and paint ovens designed to operate within BMW’s strict tolerances.
